House Policy

  • A starter pack of paper towels, dishwashing soap, dish soap, sponge, hand soap, laundry detergent, garbage bags, shampoo, conditioner, soap and toilet paper are all provided.

  • Quiet Hours are between the hours of 10:00PM-8:00AM. 

  • Car limits vary by property, sometimes determined by terrain. Cars MUST be parked in the driveway or garage if it is available.  No off-street parking is allowed. 

  • City of Manzanita Ordinance restricts the use of any RV's, travel trailers, campers or tents on any rental property. Driving RV’s can be parked but not used, plugged in, opened during their stay.

  • Animal policy- Dogs are allowed at specified properties. NO OTHER ANIMALS are allowed in the homes.

  • Our homes are strict NON-SMOKING, NON-VAPING, NON-CHEWING TOBACCO (including any marijuana products). Smokers/Vapers are allowed to smoke outside, please ensure all windows and doors are closed and all butts are disposed of properly.

  • Please rewire any TV systems that you may have disconnected for video games, Roku, AppleTV, etc, to its original working condition.

  • The City of Manzanita occupancy limits cannot be exceeded. If exceeded, you may be subject to immediate eviction with no refund. (Up to 2 Children under 2 will not count in the occupancy count). If not evicted, you shall pay a $200 per person overnight assessment and will have to check out the next morning with no refund.

  • Parties are not allowed in Sunset to Sunset vacation rental properties without specific APPROVAL from Sunset to Sunset staff before arrival. Should a group misrepresent themselves, you will be asked to leave immediately and forfeit your payments.   We cater primarily to family groups. No fraternities, sororities, bachelor(ette) parties or un-chaperoned persons will be allowed. 

  • Our homeowners love their homes and have set them up the way they would like them. Please do NOT move any furniture in the house. If you move anything please return it to its original place before departure or you may be charged for the time that it takes to place it back in the correct spot.

  • Lost and Found items: $25 fee or Shipping cost, whichever is greater. Sunset Vacation Rentals is not responsible for items left, lost or missing.

  • Bio-hazard/Bodily fluid cleaning fee (blood, vomit, excrement, etc.) Accidents happen but we expect our guests to clean up after themselves in cases of bodily fluids- There will be a fee for additional cleaning of $100-$250 if there is bodily fluids left in the house for us to clean.

  • We ask that all garbage including leftover food items from the refrigerator, freezer, etc.  be taken to outside cans upon departure.

  • Please strip the sheets off all beds used and start a load of towels upon departure. We greatly appreciate your help as this region has a staff shortage.

  • Please load and start the dishwasher upon departure.

  • Please lock the door upon departure and return the key to the lock box, if applicable. A re-keying fee of $25 will be applied to any lost keys.

  • Guests will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the homeowner and Sunset to Sunset Vacation Rentals from and against any claim, loss, expense or damage to any person or property in or on the property arising from your use or occupancy of this vacation rental home. 

 

DOG POLICY

$15 per dog per night plus tax/processing with a maximum of $150.

The beach has fleas in and around the area. To protect your dog and our homes we highly recommend flea treating them before coming to the area.

All dogs on the property must be pre-registered with Sunset to Sunset Vacation rentals.  Renters are subject to a $250 fine for any unregistered dog(s) on the property. Call the office at 1-888-848-6660 to see if any additional dogs may be registered to stay.

  • Please clean up all waste after your dog. If Sunset to Sunset Vacation Rentals has to clean up after your dog there is a $25.00 - $50.00 fee depending on how long it takes to clean up after your dog.

  • Please wipe your dog’s coat and feet when they are wet, dirty, or sandy before entering into the home.

  • You are required to either bring your dog with you when away from the house or leave your dog kenneled inside the house. 

  • Do not lock your dog in a bathroom, bedroom, etc.  Dogs in unfamiliar homes will act out and you will be responsible for any damage done by your dog. 

  • Please walk your dog on a leash. Dogs get excited and will run out the door and tend to get lost easily in unfamiliar territory. 

  • Even if the home you rent has a fenced yard, please do not leave your dog in the yard or on an enclosed deck when you are away from the home or during the night. Dogs will bark and cry for their parents while they are away.
